TV Drama And Me

Ok. This post will consist of ;
1. TV dramas that I watch and some Xtra info
2. Some photos for those that don't take a liking to full on text
3. Pretty Colours

The Inbetweeners
"BAFTA award-winning British sitcom about a group of teenage friends struggling through sixth form at school"
The kind of storyline I can relate to. Sixth form is a major step from secondary school and this programme shows exactly that. Its humourous, telling joke after joke, keeping me constantly entertained and exaggerates the different personalities within the four boys. The representations of sixth form boys is very inaccurate, but some aspects are real such as the peer pressure against rule-abiding Will, the love sick Simon, Vacant minded Neil and Sex driven Jay.

EastEnders.
"Long-running British television soap opera, which was first broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 19 February 1985. It currently ranks as one of the most watched shows in the UK."
typical representation of East end londoners. A sense of community is portrayed within Albert sqaure consisting of Strong independent women, such as Peggy Mitchell and in a sense Zainab Masood in her struggle to keep her family together whatever the sacrifice. The constant battle to assert authority among the men in Eastenders, such as Phil Mitchell, Ian Beale, Jack Branning etc. The main focus of Eastenders would be shots of the Queen Vic pub, where many of the infamous dramatic scenes take place such as the fire, Archie's death and even Kat revealing her being Zoe's mother took place just outside the vic.

Misfits.
This fictional dark teen comedy drama "won the 2010 BAFTA Television Award for Best Drama Series"
I didnt really keep track of what was going on in misfits, but the episodes I did watch were very good. Five outsiders struck by lightening and being given super powers; EXCITING STUFF! It has everything from sex and violencemurder and crime to romance and comedy.

Skins.
